July 4th Parade Registration Open

Participating in the Town parades is a great way to promote your business! Get creative with your vehicle décor or an entertaining theme, and you can make a memorable impact. Plus, it's fun and registration is free! The Town's 4th of July Festival is on Saturday, July 6th and the Parade is at 10am. Click on the link below and enter "parade" in the search bar to register for this year's parade.

(Parks & Recreation reminds everyone that you must press the CHECKOUT button for the registration to be processed. You will not be charged anything, but you must fully complete the checkout process for everything to go through.)

Parkway Closure for Repairs

Late Friday we received word that a section of the Parkway from milepost 261 to 276.5 that had previously been closed and is now open, some single lane closures along this section may still be possible. This is good news, things are progressing. A new detour map is attached and is also included on the Alerts and Conditions, Road Status and Closures, and Maps pages of the BLRI website.
