WHAT'S FRESH
The #MSFarmersMarket hosts an array of vendors from across the state each Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Each vendor will have a variety of fresh products for you to chose from. Vegetables
Acorn squash, Arugula, Frozen Blueberries, Beets, Bell Peppers, Boiled Peanuts, Bok Choi, Broccoli, Cabbage, Carrots, Cayenne Peppers, Cauliflower, Collard Greens, Celery, Cucumbers, Eggplant, Fava Greens,  Garlic, Ginger, Green Onions, Green Garlic, Kale, Kohlrabi, Lettuce, Mache, Mustard Greens, New Potatoes, Radishes, Rape, Salad Greens, Scallop Squash, Shallots, Shiitake Mushrooms,  Spinach, Strawberries, Sweet Potatoes, Swiss Chard, Tomatoes,  Turmeric, Turnip Greens,  Turnip Roots and Yellow Onions.

ENTERTAINMENT
Vince Venturini

Vince Venturini is a native of Jackson and earned a bachelor's degree in Sociology from Mississippi State University, a master's degree in Social Work from the University of Southern Mississippi and a doctorate degree in Social Work from the University of Alabama. He is the former chair of the Mississippi Department of Social Work and is currently an associate provost at Mississippi Valley State University. He retired from full time state employment in 2014 and later returned to teach social work part time at MVSU. Venturini covers a broad musical landscape. He likes to play classic country songs by Hank Williams and Jimmie Rodgers, but
 can also perform some sixties rock classics by the Beatles and the Rolling 
Stones. Venturini used to entertain nursing home residents and Head Start children
with cowboy songs. He also used to join Sherman Lee Dillon and friends at 
Flashbacks playing traditional music.

E-Waste Collection Day

The Greater Jackson Chamber Partnership has teamed up with Keep Jackson Beautiful, Keep Mississippi Beautiful, Magnolia Data Solutions, Atmos Energy, the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality, the Mississippi Department of Transportation, the Mississippi Recycling Coalition and Waste Management to host a Jackson-Metro area business E-Waste Collection Day on Friday, April 21, 2017, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mississippi Farmers Market. The Farmer's Table

The Farmer's Table is located inside of the Mississippi Farmers Market. It is open Tuesday through Friday from 7 a.m to 2 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The restaurant serves dine in or carry out breakfast and lunch.  Learn more.
