“I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality ... I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word.” —Martin Luther King, Jr.
Message from Session
Greetings!

When our church’s leadership, the Session, meets monthly, it’s a business meeting as well as a visioning meeting. We plan for the future, weighing opportunities and considering where our resources will have the most impact.

At our last meeting, we determined this goal for 2023:

Look for ways to reach new people and incorporate them into the life of the church and create opportunities to bring our community together.

This goal will shape where we put our energy, what projects we undertake and how we use our campus.

Concert for Hope, on February 4, is an exciting expression of this goal. We look forward to being together in our historic space that evening as well as taking steps towards our future, together.

Best,
South Church Session
