Standing Strong Through Life's Challenges
Greetings Ministry Partners,
I am grateful for what God has done for my family in terms of recovering my wife's health. My wife finally underwent chemotherapy, and this has had more of an impact than the two operations she had previously undergone. One week after chemo, my wife experienced a very weak body and often vomited, so she could not carry out family activities. In the second week, my wife's hair started to fall out. Please pray for support so that Renny can go through the chemo process six more times until September. Also, please pray that I will be able to fulfill all my CCI duties while she's undergoing chemo. I have to spend extra time caring for my family because my wife is limited in doing family activities.

We appreciate your prayers and support.

I am teaching the Makassar Pelita Kasih class Book 5, which is about Bible Doctrine. When this class learned about the doctrine of sin, the participants increasingly evaluated themselves because not praying for others is a sin, and knowing what is good and not doing it is a sin.
I started a new class in Pakatto Goa South Sulawesi, which was initially planned to be attended by four participants. It turned out that only one person was willing to learn because the other three people said they were busy with other activities.
The Mamasa Area Coordinator, Daniel Padang (left), visited and taught the Sabara class twice. This class finished studying Book 6, Personal Spiritual Life and is ready to start Book 7. Pastor Tolayuk, a student, said that satisfaction is not determined by the situation but by the attitude of the heart.

Oktavianus Mila, the Sumba Area Coordinator (yellow shirt), visited the Rajaka class three times. Praise the Lord that they completed Book 4, which taught about delivering biblical messages.

In May, Daniel Padang, the Mamasa Area Coordinator, presented the CCI ministry to the Masewe Holistic Christian Church in the Nosu District. It took three hours by motorbike to reach the church. We held a presentation attended by ten people from three different church denominations, with one of the teaching candidates, Pastor Tolayuk. Eight people committed to studying, which is planned to start next month.
I am grateful that the Board of Trustees and staff were able to meet this month via Zoom and pray for each other. The staff discussed the developments taking place in their area, and I again discussed CCI Indonesia's goals for 2024.
My name is Suriayanto Singa. I am an army officer who had a job transfer from Jakarta to Makassar six months ago. At first, I was very disappointed with what I experienced because my move meant I had to be separated from my wife and children, but I am grateful because God put all this together for my good. My house in Bogor is used by the church as a place of worship every week. I have a desire that after retirement, I can be active in serving God. I am grateful to be involved in studying with the CCI class in Pakatto, Goa, South Sulawesi, and I see that this is a tool that God is using to prepare me to serve in the future. Even though the duties and responsibilities in the military are very busy, I still make time to study. Being busy with my duties is not an excuse for me not to study.
