Make a Difference by Volunteering

Volunteering is a rich and rewarding experience that allows you to connect with your community and neighbors. It’s a great way to meet new friends, have a sense of accomplishment, and grow as a person - plus, it’s a lot of fun!

At the City of Beavercreek, we value our volunteers and thank them immensely for giving their time and unique skills to make Beavercreek a wonderful place to live, work, and explore. The city relies on the generosity of our volunteers to assist with many events, projects, and programs, including:

Senior Center Transportation Program: This program is made possible thanks to wonderful volunteers! The center is in need of more volunteers for this service to help keep seniors on the move. The program helps to address senior mobility issues in the area. Drivers escort seniors to medical appointments, grocery stores, and other local activities. Drivers do not need a special license, just a desire to help!

Parks: Do you have a group looking for a volunteer opportunity? The city’s Parks, Recreation & Culture Division is looking for volunteers to help clean up playgrounds and spread mulch. Make a difference in your community by helping to improve city parks for everyone to enjoy!

2023 Street Resurfacing and Curb Replacement Program

The City of Beavercreek has dedicated $2.5 million to its 2023 Street Resurfacing and Curb Replacement Program to resurface various residential streets throughout the city.

This year, the city will resurface approximately 8.54 centerline miles of streets. City engineers determine which roads will be resurfaced using the Ohio Department of Transportation’s evaluation procedure for pavement condition ratings. Streets with the lowest rating receive priority.
