USU Mourns Biology Professor Frank Messina
|
|
The College of Science mourns Dr. Frank Messina, who passed away Feb. 25, and extends heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. Frank is remembered as an outstanding scientist, teacher and mentor. A scholarship fund has been established to honor his memory.

Commencement 2022 Updates
|
|
The university commencement ceremony will be held Thursday, May 5, at 9 a.m. in the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum, and the College of Science Convocation Ceremony will be held that same evening, also in the Spectrum, at 6:30 p.m. Guest tickets are required for all graduation events. Please remind your graduating students to RSVP for the college convocation.

STEM enthusiasts of all ages are invited to the Department of Physics’ Spring Demo Show Friday, March 25, at 7 p.m. in ESLC 130. The free gathering features about an hour of non-stop science demonstrations, highlighting optical illusions, vision, eyeglasses, color, the strong nuclear force, radioactivity and more.

Fostering Inclusion in the College

The College of Science invites applications to a faculty cluster hire of at least four positions on the Logan campus, to enhance justice, equity, diversity and inclusion (JEDI) efforts in science and mathematics disciplines in our college.
|
|
USU’s annual Employee Giving Campaign is underway and, this year, College of Science employee donations (unless otherwise specified) will go toward the college’s Student Hardship Fund.
The fund provides emergency, one-time assistance to students in crisis. Donations can be conveniently made via payroll deduction or other method of your choice. Employees making a new donation or increasing an existing donation receive a free Aggie Ice Cream.
