The streets surrounding our campus will be transformed into a racetrack for the NTT IndyCar Series! The Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg is a 1.8-mile, 14-turn temporary circuit that circles Pioneer Park, the Duke Energy Center for the Arts, The DalĂ­ Museum and Albert Whitted Airport.

The Poetry Out Loud State Finals is returning to campus. The competition for high school students enhances students’ public speaking and presentation skills by having them read and recite great poetry. The winner moves on to the National Finals in Washington, D.C.

This is the second talk in the new PlaceMatters SP Speaker Series, presented by the Nelson Poynter Memorial Library and Preserve the 'Burg.

 Longtime Tampa artist Charles Greacen creates meticulous, photo-like drawings in pen and ink of iconic structures in the Tampa Bay area. In this interview-style lecture, local historian Gary Mormino will ask Greacen about his work and inspiration.

Bayboro Harbor
Thousands of people are expected to come downtown and to our campus for Tall Ships St. Pete. The magnificent, historic ships sail into Bayboro Harbor for a four-day maritime celebration. You can attend several events or just come for a day.
