Ocean Shores Police Department Launches Citizens Patrol

The Ocean Shores Police Department’s mission is to prevent crime, enforce the law and support quality public safety by delivering respectful, professional, and dependable police services. This month, the Ocean Shores Police Department is launching Citizens Patrol, wherein local residents will fill a variety of roles in providing non-enforcement services to the community.

Members of OSPD Citizens Patrol will be registered with the City of Ocean Shores as volunteers. Any U.S. Citizen who is at least 50 years old may apply to be a member of the Citizens Patrol, provided they are of good moral character, free of felony conviction and crimes of moral turpitude. All volunteers must reside in the city limits of Ocean Shores. In accordance with the provisions of this program, a volunteer has no salary, benefits or labor relation rights of a City employee and serves “at the will” of the Chief of Police.

There are no delays in communication; your contractors will always have the most up-to-date review status information.

Permit applications will be routed for review to the correct departments and users. Shores Spotlight

Nate's Vintage

The story of Nate's Vintage begins with owner, Nate Hamilton moving to Grays Harbor from West Seattle and settling in Ocean Shores. Prior to his move, Nate owned and operated Clyde & Son Salvage at the Georgetown Trailer Park Shopping Mall in Seattle where he sold his man-cave picks, paranormal items and barware.

Bringing along his wealth of knowledge and personal passion for all things vintage and paranormal, he opened his shop at 339 Damon Point Road in 2019.

After owning and operating his store for four years, Nate has gained a reputation in town for his dedication to searching across the Pacific Northwest for rare and interesting items of the finest quality.

Professional and amateur collectors alike enjoy a stroll through the shop where music memorabilia, vintage and retro collectibles, barware and crystal, and many more unique items that can't be found elsewhere.
