Dear Parents,
The sacrifices that we have made the past couple years are significant but they pale in comparison to the sacrifice that Jesus made for all of us. Hopefully the season of Lent has given us an opportunity for reflection on what is important in our lives and how we can show that we value those things more.
Congratulations to our 8tyh graders for a great production of Moana! Thanks to Maria O’Connor for coming again to direct and produce the show and thank you to everyone who attended one of the nights last weekend.
Since our Easter break is so late this year, we will be thrust into the chaotic joy that is the end of the school year very quickly when we return. We will not be sending out a Weekly next week but be prepared for more information about the Week of the Arts/Variety Show (May 4-6). We pushed it back this year to allow for more participation but it will be the beginning of a busy month of May!
We will also be holding the Bulldog 5K on May 7th. The deadline for signing up to be a 5K family sponsor is this Friday, April 15. Click the link HERE to sign up. We appreciate Athena Myers and Eleanor Hopkins for volunteering to organize this event.
Request: If anyone knows who Jean Power is, please let us know. We received a thoughtful donation when we sent out bookmarks to the grandparents but we cannot identify which family belongs to Jean.
We hope everyone has a Blessed and joyful Easter break!
Faithfully,
Chris Kelly

Volunteer Opportunities Coming Soon!
The K-4 sign up genius forms were emailed to this week. Parents who volunteer must be vaccinated and Virtus trained. We hope you will check your calendars and sign up to get involved in some way.
For the 5-8th grade students, they will be selecting their 2-day workshops on Tuesday, April 26 (after Easter break). After that, we will be reaching out for signed permission forms (for kids going off campus). A flyer and more details will be issued after we get back from Easter break.

Support Blessed Sacrament!
It's shopping season and one of the easiest ways to support the HSA and our school is by shopping through Amazon Smile!
Click here to shop Amazon and be sure to bookmark the link. Amazon will donate a percentage of all purchases to Blessed Sacrament.
If you use the Amazon Shopping app on your phone or tablet, go to the Settings menu and under Programs and Features click 'See all Programs' and click 'AmazonSmile'. Search "Shrine Most Blessed Sacrament" to add BSS to your rewards program. Then every time you shop Amazon on your phone/tablet, BSS will receive a percentage of your purchases, including orders from Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods! Just remember to shop through the Amazon Smile Link! You can ask friends and family to consider registering as well!
