At the end of 2022, 3M announced its plans to exit the manufacturing of 3M™ Novec™ 1230 Fire Protection Fluid by the end of 2025. Novec 1230 is the branded name for FK-5-1-12 as listed in NFPA 2001. Fike Corporation has FK-5-1-12 UL Listings and FM approval to provide a seamless transition from the 3M™Novec™1230 Fire Protection Fluid.
