Dan Dugmore, the husband of all husbands, his love and support with me rescuing all these little dogs over the years has been incredible. He loves them as much as I do and he is sometimes so in tune with their needs that a cuddle on his lap or a peek through a window is the most healing thing they need before they move on to their new forever home.

Happy Endings Update on Jackson

This is Jackson. He was adopted in Feb of 2007 from YTNR.

We're in West KY (Paducah) and drove to Central IN (and back in a snowstorm) to adopt him. He must have had real misgivings of his fate that night! Lol!!

I'm a terrible photographer but these are the best of a few hundred I've taken. Lol! He will no longer tolerate much grooming so we keep the pup equivalent of a crew cut. (I don't blame him...I don't dress up as much as I did in my younger days either.) Other than eye drops (which he doesn't like at all) and arthritis supplements he's healthy for his age. He's earned the right to be a little cantankerous but overall he's a tiny benevolent dictator and he's so very loved. Lisa Barnett

After spending some time getting fixed up after her owner passed away Libby has landed in the lap of love in her new home in Hendersonville, Tn. She has taken over her Daddy's heart and lap in her new forever home. love....Linda Maita

Remembering Bill on his Birthday

Hi Everyone,

We got this little angel from California, Eva brought her to us so that we could help her. Her name is Lily and she is 7 months old and needs our help. After spending the day at the vet yesterday she had a pre and post bile acids test and the numbers were off the charts positive. We haven't had a liver shunt baby for a long time and the University of Tennessee is the leading expert with this surgery. They charge $4000 + to do the surgery which is amazing seeing as how it's close to $8000 + in other States. We need to ask for donations so that we can schedule this appointment and take her to UT.
