AB 1400 & ACA 11
Single- Payer Health Care (Oppose)
The Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau has joined forces with over 100 other local California Chambers of Commerce to oppose AB 1400 & ACA 11. These bills would create a new and exorbitantly expensive government bureaucracy, which would control and finance a state-run health care system (Cal Care) ultimately resulting in significant job loss to California. Similar proposals in the past have been estimated to annually cost more than $400 billion. Click here for more information on these bills.
