MESSAGE FROM FR. JEFF

Hello everybody!

As we celebrate the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, I was excited and filled with joy to welcome our students back to campus for the first day of the new school year. It is good for us to be here together! Welcome back everyone! We do have one more mass for the Feast Day tonight at 7:00 p.m. I look forward to that celebration.

As students return to the classrooms, our community celebrates the end of the summer break this Saturday after the 5:00 p.m. mass with our Summer Social. It is a great opportunity for all of us to get together and have some good food and fun. Please see more info below under Joining Together.

I also thank you for your generosity to the Annual Mission Appeal. Our community raised $21,827 for a new retirement home being built for retired and disabled priests in the Diocese of Byumba in Rwanda. Well done!

As a reminder, daily Mass on Wednesdays will now be at 12:00 p.m. The Mass for our school will remain at 8:00 a.m., but will only be open to school families who will need to sign in at the doors. This change enhances our security and allows us to ensure appropriate hospitality for our daily Mass participants. Thank you for your understanding.

May Mary, assumed body and soul into heaven, be our guide as disciples on the journey of faith. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death.

Peace,

Fr. Jeff
