NEW UH STRATEGIC PLAN

A message from President Lassner: We are beginning development of the University of Hawai‘i Strategic Plan, 2023-2029, and your active engagement is imperative for us to develop a plan that will outline and articulate the role our University must play in advancing thriving and sustainable communities throughout our islands while also addressing global and regional challenges and opportunities. The Plan builds upon the UH Third Decade Report and our current UH Strategic Directions 2015-2021, which guided us at a high level, and our post-pandemic plans, which helped us focus on what Hawaiʻi needs most from public higher education during these challenging times.

We would appreciate your assistance in completing this survey by Friday, May 6. It is completely anonymous. You may access the survey at the following secure site:  http://hawaii.surveyshare.com/t/Strategic-Directions

Please note you must confirm your submission at the end of the survey for your responses to be saved. The survey should take approximately 5 minutes to complete. If you must exit partway through the survey, you have the option of saving and returning later. You will be given a unique URL that will take you back to where you left off.

If you have questions or comments, send an email to ovpas@hawaii.edu or call (808) 956-7532.

Progress on the 2023-2029 Strategic Plan and survey results will be made available at https://www.hawaii.edu/offices/vp-academic-strategy/uh-strategic-plan-2023-2029/.

You can expect to receive two follow-up reminder emails regarding this survey. Due to the anonymity of the survey, you will be receiving these reminders even though you may have already responded to the survey. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and assistance in this important assessment effort.
