Nurses Week is May 6-12 and is a wonderful time to celebrate our nursing roots and nursing colleagues. As nurses, we have the opportunity to heal the heart, mind, soul and body of our patients and families. NPs are well positioned to play a major role in reshaping the landscape of health inequity by expanding our roles connecting health and health care equity to health outcomes for individuals and communities. I look forward to working with you as we work to achieve health equity for all.
