A Message From The Principal
EPHS Families,

Our students and staff are laser-focused on a strong finish to Term 2/Semester 1. They have done an incredible job thus far and I know that will continue this week. We are modifying our schedule for this week and next in effort to match the needs of our students within our context of increased student and teacher absences due to the pandemic (schedules below). These structures will help each student finish strong.

I’d like to ask for your partnership in supporting a couple of messages we have been sharing with your teens. The first is to just remind them of the schedule. Note that if students are assigned to CORE this week or Flex next week, their attendance is required. The second message is where they can receive support. Classroom teachers are the best place to start, with Student Support Team members providing layered support when needed. The third and final message is on the importance of a strong academic finish to Term 2/Semester 1. Each member of our school community wants students to conclude this period with an academic record they are both proud of and that will open doors for them in the future. We also want students to be able to start Term 3/Semester 2 on January 31 with a clean slate. Many thanks in advance for your partnership in communication this week.

Below are the specifics of how our daily schedule will look the next two weeks. Please be in touch with questions. Thanks again for supporting our students and school!
