The new brick and mortar marks a permanent return for the family team that operated the well-loved Bodega Bistro on Larkin for 15 years until 2017.

On a bittersweet note for theater fans, EXIT Theatre will close after forty years. It’s not too late to catch something totally unique as the season continues through the fall with the return of the legendary FRINGE Festival in September. Also good news, Cutting Ball Theater, which operates the EXIT on Taylor, is not going anywhere.

Oklahoma is at Golden Gate Theatre. “This is OKLAHOMA! as you’ve never seen or heard it before—reimagined for the 21st century and the Tony Award Winner for Best Revival of a Musical.”

Note, a special message to patrons in the show’s program honors our Community Based Safety Program partners at Urban Alchemy. UA team members were invited to attend the opening and loved it. Thank you, Broadway SF, for recognizing them for their incredible and transformative work!

Meanwhile Orpheum Theatre is readying for Moulin Rouge. You’ll notice a new mural going up along the Hyde Street side of the building. Stay tuned for more exciting developments at Orpheum.

Lastly, our friends at the MMCBD are giving out $100 gift cards to support local coffee shops. Check out their coffee map and all the details here.
