Volunteer Maine Commissioners vote unanimously to increase AmeriCorps service stipend
Great news for AmeriCorps members! The increase to $20,000 is a first step in the Commission's ongoing effort to Make AmeriCorps service in Maine a viable option for all. AmeriCorps members are also eligible for an education award, student-loan forbearance, health coverage, and childcare (if needed). Access more info on our website.

Take the first step to building an AmeriCorps program!
AmeriCorps Planning Grant proposals are due April 19. Applicants must commit to designing an evidence-based AmeriCorps service program that would be submitted to an operating grant competition within six to ten months. Learn more by visiting the AmeriCorps grant competition page of our website.
