Thank you for celebrating with us!

We had a FANTASTIC World Down Syndrome Day celebration!
Thank you to everyone who came out to spend 3.21, 3.23, or BOTH with us! We had AMAZING events from eating pizza and spending time with friends and family to a magical night celebrating INCLUSION!

We love to see our members enjoying one another and the wonderful opportunities in our community! We know that every day is a day to celebrate the ones we love, but it is great to celebrate what it means to be part of the <<<Lucky Few>>> and raise awareness!

We will have a whole month of this in October and would love to hear some ideas of how you think we can celebrate World Down Syndrome Awareness Month! Send your ideas to Karmarie karmarie.maldonado@dsfflorida.org.

Mom's Night Out

Based on the 2005 film and inspired by a true story, KINKY BOOTS follows Charlie Price, an aspiring young businessman who is forced to give up his dreams of living the London city life in order to save his late father’s family business in Northern England. When Charlie suddenly inherits his father’s bankrupt shoe factory, he finds unexpected inspiration in the form of Lola/Simon, a fabulous drag entertainer in need of some sturdy stilettos. As Charlie and Lola work to turn the factory around, this unlikely pair finds that they have more in common than they ever dreamed possible… and discovers that when you change your mind about someone, you can change your whole world.
