IYM Church News:

Danville Friends will present the movie from Voice of the Martyrs, "Sabina: Tortured for Christ, the Nazi Years," March 12, 6:30 pm. All are welcome. On March 16, 17, & 18 (8-4 pm) and March 19 (8-3 pm), the church will hold Garage Sales for two

Farmland Friends is seeking to fill the part-time position of Worship Ministry Team Leader. Responsibilities require sensitivity to the leading of the Holy Spirit, musical proficiency, and ability to ready the Worship Ministry Team to be “lead worshipers.” For more information please email Keith Huffman at pastorkeith@farmlandfriends.org. Thank you!
Friends United Meeting is making plans for their 2022 Stoking the Fire retreat. At this point, they expect it to be a hybrid event (in person and virtual options) from June 3–5. Those meeting in person will gather in Richmond at Quaker Hill. They welcome your input on specific themes or a particular focus that will shape their planning. Send ideas to Colin Saxton. They look forward to seeing you! Thanks for being part of this community and they hope to see you again this year!
IYM Sunday:
The IYM Advancement Committee would love to start a prayer team that would join that committee in prayer as we endeavor together to meet the program needs and financial goals for IYM. This is a wonderful way for anyone within IYM to join the work going on in IYM as we continue to 'be disciples of Jesus Christ and make disciples of Jesus Christ’. Please contact Damon Seacott (clerk of the Advancement Committee) or Pat Byers if you are interested.
From the IYM Advancement Committee:
March Madness -- God is moving in IYM! Please consider making a gift or giving us a pledge for the 2023 budget fundraising efforts. So far, we have raised $43,527.68 ($30,177.68 cash received; and another $13,350.00  pledged). We need to raise $120,000 to help fund our ministries, services, programs, and more. Thank you for your support and care for IYM.
From the Christian Service Committee:
The Christian Service Committee will be providing another webinar via Zoom on March 15 at 6:30 pm. The webinar will feature John Trimble, Director of Spiritual Life at Josiah White’s. Here is a short descriptor of what John plans to share: My teaching is going to be based on Luke 6:27-36. A climate of Covid, racism, political unrest, threats to freedom, gender and sexuality issues is the perfect soil for the love of Christ to be planted, watered, and see flourishing; but only if we are relying on the love that He first gave to us and not our cheap, self-serving, self-manufactured love. Please plan to join the Zoom.

Josiah White's is hosting a Ministry Leaders Breakfast. You are invited to join them for a free hot breakfast, training, and fellowship time with other ministry leaders.

Residential Student Chaplain, Shane Chellis, will share about viewing the 12 steps often used in recovery programs as a guide for spiritual formation. There will also be a tour of the new Compass Rose Academy Hub building at the end of the time together. They would love for you to join them!
