Mary of Magdala, ECC - 2022 Lenten Project
Thank you to ALL who participated in this year's Lenten Project for collection of goods and monetary donations to international and local organizations.
"Our gratitude is immeasurable and these organizations can only reach their goals with help from people like the parishioners at Mary of Magdala."
COLLECTION OF GOODS
This year, during Lent, we collected items needed by several local charities our community has supported in the past. The Mary of Magdala Social Justice Ministry provided a bin for collecting supplies in the church vestibule for
Family Housing Network, Homeward Alliance and the Food Bank for Larimer County
ALMS GIVING
Dominican Sisters Relief Fund - Ukraine - The Sisters in Krakow received over $6,000 (includes the matching gift fund of $2,500 established by the Leadership Council.)
The Social Justice Ministry also provided links to donate to local organization’s via their websites. These included:
ISAAC: The Interfaith Solidarity and Accompaniment Coalition; Fuerza Latina a grassroots support organization,and; Casa De Paz that provides shelter and support services for recently released detainees of the Aurora ICE Processing Center or for families of detainees.

In-Church Gathering Only
Co-Pastors Reverend Jane and Mother Rosean will celebrate weekly Mass in the Fireside Room. Please join us-- in person--to hear the Word of God, partake of the Eucharistic meal and enjoy being in community with each other. All are welcome.

We Need Magazines for Good Friday
The 301 Partnership is again sponsoring Outdoor Stations of the Cross on Good Friday from noon to 3:00 pm. Bill Smith will be providing the instrumental music and song.
We need magazines! Can you help us by donating any magazines you might have at home that are relevant to the issues of our time? The photos and headlines chosen will become a permanent part of the collages on each of the Stations.
There will be a box available in the foyer of the church this weekend.

Adult Forum: A four part series entitled 'Who is My Neighbor?' continues on Sunday
A Deep Dive into the Parable of the Good Samaritan

The focus of the series: First, what did Jesus mean? Who then is my neighbor? Second, Jesus brings attention to the mercy the Samaritan displayed. What is God’s mercy and how is it to be expressed in our lives today. Presenters from various faith backgrounds will share their understanding of what is involved in love and mercy for my neighbor.
