5Rhythms Dance Movement
Retreat April 20-23

Dancing at the top of a mountain with a 360° view allows us to broaden our lens, to see a little further, to envision what’s out there that’s calling to us. As we step into the dreamtime we will feel into those desires.
The Non-linear Movement Method is a somatic practice that identifies and unwinds patterns of contraction, and through gentle movements relieves tension and soothes the nervous system.
Music Week April 23-28
Each day you will enjoy opportunities for group and individual participation and instruction in songwriting, guitar, voice, ukulele and more.
Evening concerts by instructors:
April 24 Rod McDonald
April 25 Friction Farm
April 26 Tret Fure
Music Week has been transformative. When I came here, I lacked courage to really try to pursue music. In my first songwriting class here, I wasn’t finishing sentences. But, in five days here, I wrote two songs. There is something about this place – magical. ~Renee E. 2022
GSV Gay Spirit Vision May 12-14
From Vulnerability to Intimacy:
Exploring the Threshold
We are committed to creating safe, sacred space that is open to all spiritual paths, wherein men who love men may explore and strengthen spiritual identity.
We are committed to creating a spiritual community with the intent to heal, nurture our gifts and potential, and live with integrity in the world.
Mayan elders say it is time for ancient indigenous wisdom to be shared with the world to help birth the New Era.
Womenspirit May 17-21
We will follow the sacred Mayan calendar days, and we will walk together on what the Maya call the Sacred Road, The Sac Be.
Our vision is that by honoring the wisdom of the indigenous cultures of this land we live on, coming together in Mayan Sacred time, we can better be in right relationship with Mother Earth, the Divine, ourselves, and each other.
Homecoming May 26-29
Join us for three days of renewing connections with old friends and making new connections, being immersed in this extraordinary natural environment, and learning about current projects and possibilities for the future. There will also be workshops, entertainment, celebrations, and our Annual Meeting.

Message from the Board - KC Boyce
My “Mountain story” is, in many ways, the story of my life. I first came to The Mountain in the 1980s for a congregational retreat with the Birmingham (MI) Unitarian Church. Several congregational retreats later, I attended summer High Adventure Camp, where I was introduced to backpacking, rock climbing, and whitewater rafting – all pastimes I still enjoy.
A few years later, I was a Mountaincamp CIT and in subsequent summers served on the Mountaincamp leadership team as Adventure Director. During my time with Mountaincamp, I learned skills about managing people, projects, and conflict (among other things!) that I still use today. I met my wife, Michelle, when we were both on Mountaincamp leadership and we married on Meditation Rock in 2002. We now have two kids who attend Mountaincamp.

The Mountain has not only been a consistent part of my life, but it has introduced me to experiences, skills, and people that collectively have immeasurably enriched my life. It’s in recognition and appreciation of that enrichment that I choose to support The Mountain both financially and with my time. My hope is that The Mountain continues to create experiences and relationships for youth and adults that have similar impacts on their lives as they have on mine.
Thank you for your support!
