I DIG Greeneville / Greene County! Thinking about this past year, what is there not to “Dig”? 2021 was a great year for our community and I hope that it was for you personally as well. A quick appraisal of 2021 reveals:

Finally, we closed out the year with the much anticipated ground breaking on Depot Street AND Greeneville Light & Power approving to move forward to provide broadband to our community. These two events coupled with the creation of the Greene Valley Industrial Development Board, as stated…”This is historic!”

As we begin 2022, we should all look forward to the progress and new opportunities that a new year brings. “Dig In” and enjoy the new year!

First Snowfall of 2022

On January 2nd and 3rd, Greene County experienced its first snowfall of the New Year. Many businesses delayed opening on January 3rd, but road crews worked quickly resulting in business-as-usual soon after.

Events & Service Projects

Join us on January 10th at 10 am as we celebrate with a ribbon cutting at JOURNEY Physical Therapy & Balance Center! We would like to welcome them as new Chamber of Commerce members. Their location is 2000 Monarch Pointe, Greeneville.

From now until January 19th, Fairest of the Fair Class of 2022 member, Maddie Ratliff, is accepting donations for Veterans in need. Items such as men's socks and unscented toiletries of soap, lotion, and deodorant can be placed in the Veterans Home box at the Greene County Partnership Monday - Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm.
