Principal's Corner
The past two weeks we've made a school-wide effort to practice responding to adults with eye contact and "Yes Sir" or "Yes Ma'am" and cleaning up after ourselves and others. For the upcoming week, we will focus on when to remain quiet and how to use appropriate volume. We hope you will continue to reinforce and practice these skills at home.

Weather Alerts
Just wanted to let our parents know that whenever there is a weather-related emergency, as we experienced this past week, we are notified immediately by several emergency services. We then immediately follow the prescribed response - such as our tornado drill & shelter in place - as we did this past Thursday, and we will remain in that posture until the all clear is given. AFTER the children are settled and safe in their sheltering position, we will send out a ParentAlert, as we did on Thursday, to notify parents of our status and any other information you need to know.

Middle School History
Mr. Jennings, our Middle School History teacher, has announced that he will not be returning to St. Benedict Catholic School next year. He plans to continue his own education and coursework. We thank Mr. Jennings for his hard work this year and dedication to our school. We will be seeking a new History teacher for the 22-23 school year. If you know of anyone who might be interested in a part-time History position, please have them email their resume to scruess@saintbenedictschool.org.

Summer Uniform Reminder
According to the School Handbook, students may only wear the summer uniform before Thanksgiving and after Easter. However, the weather is getting warmer, and we are going to allow students to wear the summer uniform starting on Monday, April 4! If you have any questions about the summer uniform, please review the School Handbook.
PTO Upcoming
April 12th will be our next Used Uniform Swap from 4pm-6pm in the cafeteria. Bring your GENTLY used uniform items to swap or purchase any item for $2.

If you are willing to help volunteer, please email Beth Middleton at middletonb820@gmail.com
