National Night Out (NNO)

Tuesday, August 1, 6:00 - 8:00pm

on Dean Green

We hope that you are making plans to visit with your neighbors for NNO.

If you don't have a gathering on your block, you are invited to Dean Green (near 28th Street and Dean Parkway) from 6-8 pm. Please bring a dish, dessert or beverage to share. All are welcome. A grill and hot dogs/buns will be available - the hosts would like to make sure they have enough of those - please email Patty Schmitz.

Music Series: Open Acoustic Jam

Sunday, August 6, 3:00 - 4:00pm

Cedar Lake South Beach

Come out and help us wrap up the 2023 Summer Acoustic Music Series.

It will be a wonderful afternoon of music, sun, water, and a beach; we can't imagine anything better than that!

Interested in building community and saving usable items from laying around unused or even worse - the landfills?

Put the Buy Nothing app on your phone, then start sharing gifts with others. No buying or selling, just a lovely gift economy. Have too many skillets in good condition? Maybe someone could really use one. Have a once used tent but decided camping isn’t for you? Pass it on. Reduce our joint carbon footprints by reducing purchases and meet new neighbors.
