Panelists Wanted!
See below from ISPG's Vice President and Chair of the 2023 Program Committee, Jehannine Austin:

I’m a psychiatric genetics researcher who lives with mental illness. I am looking to put together a proposal for a panel at next years WCPG meeting which would feature psych genetics researchers like me who live with mental illness, having a facilitated discussion about the intersection of these two elements of their experience…. How their experience influences their work etc.
I would like to do this, because although this experience is a reality for many of us, we don’t talk about it and this results in the appearance of hard lines between those studying and those studied. This perpetuates stigma.
If you’d be willing to consider doing this, would you let me know? Super keen to hear from anyone/everyone, but particularly those in more senior roles…My email is Jehannine.austin@ubc.ca
