McNicholas High School has two events coming up that may be of interest to our school families:

• On April 4, McNicholas is hosting a Parent Education Evening about Internet Safety for Teens:

Parent Education Evening: Internet Safety for Teens | April 4 | 7 p.m. | McNicholas High School

All parents of teenagers and preteens are invited to an education program on internet safety on Tuesday, April 4 at 7 p.m. in the McNicholas High School café. This 90-minute program will be presented by Steve Smith of A Wired Family. It will include updates about apps newly popular among adolescents as well as information about online bullying and the effects of social media use on adolescents. • On April 24, McNicholas is hosting a “Love the Earth Day” Celebration:

Love the Earth Day Celebration | April 24 | 6 p.m. | McNicholas High School

Parents and children of all ages are invited to explore this hands-on learning adventure, designed by McNicholas Environmental Science students. Explore the ecosystems of Biosphere 3, learn from our students and our sustainability partners, and play in our exhibit hall. Event is FREE! Click HERE for more details.

Next week, April 5-6, the PTO is bringing Crystal Clear Science to our school from the Fall Walk-A-Thon funds! There will be hands-on learning with their "Radical Rockets" program! Volunteers are needed at each session. ***A one time Booster fee per family per school calendar year of $75 is required if registering a player for any league sport. For example, paying the $75 Booster fee for a golf player in the fall of 2023 would cover that family through the spring of 2024.
