DAAD Restricts Academic Exchange
with Russia
|
The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) declares its support for its partners in Ukraine.
"As the DAAD, we are appalled by Russia's attack on Ukraine, a sovereign state in Europe (...) As the DAAD, we stand for peaceful and free exchange in the sciences and for a cross-border community of teachers, researchers, and students all over the world (...) Our solidarity is therefore with the people and our partners in Ukraine," said DAAD President Prof. Dr Joybrato Mukherjee.
Following the invasion of Ukraine by the Russian army, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is restricting its exchange with the Russian Federation. At the same time, the exchange organisation is sticking to its long-standing partner institutions in Russia.

Happy Anniversary, Australia and Germany!
|
70 Years of Friendship!
This year marks the 70th anniversary since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Federal Republic of Germany and the Commonwealth of Australia. Over the years, a partnership has developed that is based on fundamental common values: Working together, Australia and Germany promote peace, democracy, human rights and respect for the rule of law in the Indo-Pacific and beyond. By today both nations have built a strong scientific & research partnership with more than 597 university cooperation initiatives. Since 2018 the Australia-Germany Research Network (AGRN) provides an exchange and network platform for all Australian and German researchers, students and other stake holders with an interest in bilateral R&D.
