CELEBRATE EASTER MORNING WITH BREAKFAST AND AN EGG HUNT

The Children’s Ministry and Youth Board would like to invite ALL families and friends of FCC to our Annual Easter Morning Breakfast/Egg Hunt at 9:00 am, in Blymyer Hall. The Easter Egg Hunt will follow at 9:30 for pre-school-5th grade children.

The calendar says spring - time for us to take off! On Thursday, April 13th at 6:00 pm, we will have not only great food but fun together in their private room. Place? Why the Athens Greek Restaurant on N. Main St. Baklava any anyone? (You may want to give ouzo a second thought.)

CONGO BOOK DISCUSSION GROUP

The book discussion group will meet on Monday, April 17, at 2 pm, in Blymyer Hall. The group will be discussing the book, Lincoln Highway by Amor Tawles (Humor/fiction). Everyone is invited to join the conversation! A complete list of books the group will be discussing is available in the church office.

COLLECTION OF RUMMAGE SALE ITEMS

 

Items for the Rummage Sale may be brought to the church beginning.

April 11 through April 25

From 9:00 am through 4:00 pm

Please do not leave items anywhere other than the POD storage unit in the parking lot.

 

If you have items for the Rummage Sale that cannot be delivered between 9:00 and 4:00 weekdays, please call Barb Gopp (419-564-9441) and leave a message with your name and phone number. Arrangements will be made to unlock the storage unit for you.

Items donated will be sorted and sale set up beginning Wednesday, April 26thThe FCC Pre-sale will be Sunday, April 30th, before and after the 10:30 service until 12:30.  Open to the public sale dates are Wednesday, May 3rd, 9:00 am until 4:00 pm and Thursday, May 4th, 9:00 am until 12:00 n.



We would like to invite you to participate in any or all of the above listed activities. We have a lot of fun together, make new friends, reconnect with old friends, make money that goes back into the church, and lunches are provided. What more could you ask for; fun, fellowship and food!

HELP WITH RUMMAGE SALE SET-UP AND TEAR-DOWN

Help is needed to set-up for the Rummage Sale on Tuesday, April 25 @ 6:00 pm and then again tearing down on Thursday, May 4 @ 6:00 pm. Remember, many hands make light work!

APRIL IN-SPIRED GATHERING

The April In-Spired Gathering will take place on Thursday, April 20 @ 12 noon, in Blymyer Hall (11:30 Social Time). We welcome our speaker, Tom Goldsmith, the grandson of Titanic survivor Frank Goldsmith. At age 9, Frank was traveling from South Hampton, England, to New York City on the maiden voyage of a fabulous new ship, The Titanic! You know the story, now we will hear the account of a man who survived, as told by his grandson. The deadline for reservations is Monday, April 17. Guests are always WELCOME!
