Making an Impact!
We are proud to share our annual impact report, recapping 2022 - both the measurable and intangible. We also want to share our heart-felt appreciation for your continued support of this mission of service. Without you, none of this Veteran impact would be possible.

MISSION MOMENT: How Your Support is Helping Veterans
Empowering Veterans to find fulfilling post-military careers and build meaningful lives they love.
“SSV was incredibly helpful during my transition. The assistance I received helped me get numerous interviews ultimately landing a great role with a wonderful company!”
– Jessica, US Navy
“I was able to gain confidence knowing that there is a great team willing to give me advice and encouragement, regardless of the situation – because they have all been through this transition experience as well.”
– Thomas, US Army
All of our services are offered at no cost to the Veterans and employers we serve through the generosity of individuals, corporations, community partners and other benefactors like The Call of Duty Endowment.
New Grant Will Provide Tailored Support for Transitioning Junior Enlisted Service Members

SSV has a 17-year history of assisting Veterans with their shift into civilian careers. Now, thanks to support from the Schultz Family Foundation's generous grant, SSV will extend a helping hand directly towards Southern Jr. Transitioning Enlisted Soldiers (1st and 2nd term). These younger service members will be identified through a partnership with USO, and together we'll address the unique transition obstacles they face.
Military Appreciation Night on Ice!
Record-breaking turn-out on March 25th for the exciting HAVOC Hockey game celebrating our Military Heroes! Huge thanks to presenting sponsor Leidos for supplying over 2,000 free tickets to Veterans and their families. And congratulations to the amazing fans who purchased Jerseys, together you raised over $38,000 in support of SSV's no-cost services for Veterans.
The best part of the night was watching Brigadier General Jason B. Nicholson, Commanding General, United States Army Security Assistance Command, swear in future Soldiers and Marines in front of a Military-friendly crowd of 139,806.
