COME WALK THE LABYRINTH!
Have you ever walked a labyrinth? If you have taken a solitary walk in the woods or around the park with no particular end in sight, just a reflective walk with God, you have walked a “natural” labyrinth. The purpose of such a walk is to be open to what comes to you as you walk, not to set a goal, but to let God be your guide. The focus is on the journey, not the destination.

Prayer labyrinths have been one form of Christian prayer since at least 325 CE when the first church known to do so carved a labyrinth into the floor of their church so people could walk and pray at will.

There are several designs for labyrinths, but all of them share one feature. There is one path in and the same path out. The body’s journey toward the center is representative of our desire to go toward God. The walk to the outside embodies the continual rhythm of nearing God and then entering the world with God’s light within.

Set aside some time during Holy Week to walk the labyrinth in the JW Prayer Chapel. Your experience with God on that walk will be personal to you. Every walk is different, even if you make one every day. God awaits. Will you walk toward the Holy?

CONNECT
We want to serve you better!

Wednesday night dinners are a special tradition at John Wesley Church, but they take a lot of planning to be successful, and in order to serve you better, it helps to have an accurate headcount before Wednesday. And although we will still accept payment at the door, we encourage you to register and pay for dinner online ahead of time. You can register for the next week's dinner as soon as it appears on the the events calendar in Realm and the JW website, on the homepage of your JW App when dinners are happening.

Although online registration for tonight's big salad and chicken dinner is closed, you can help us to prepare for your family by registering today for dinner on Wednesday, April 12.

**There will be a break from Wednesday Night Dinner and Discipleship Pathway Studies next Wednesday, April 5. All will resume on April 12.**

Stephen Ministers are lay congregation members trained to provide one-to-one care to those experiencing a difficult time in life, such as grief, divorce, job loss, chronic or terminal illness, or relocation.

Stephen Ministers come from all walks of life, but they all share a passion for bringing Christ’s love and care to people during a time of need. Since 1975, more than 600,000 people from more than 13,000 congregations and other organizations have been trained as Stephen Ministers. For the next few weeks, look for information about JW Stephen ministers in the e-news and on our social media pages, then meet our JW Stephen Ministers in the Welcome Center on the 5th Sunday of the month, April 30.
