Granite Construction is one of the sponsors of our 107th Habitat home. A team of 30 volunteers from Granite came out this month to spread Dyno Dirt and install the sod in the yard of our nearly-completed 107th home! Their financial support and volunteer efforts are a true blessing to our ministry. We are so grateful for their partnership as we work together to build a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

Granite is America's Infrastructure Company. From complex infrastructure to minor construction, high-value partnerships power their projects and fuel their mission to build a better world together. Thank you, Granite Construction!

By design, each one of our Habitat homes is uniquely beautiful and complements the existing homes in their surrounding neighborhoods in many ways. For our 107th home, our Build Committee volunteers recently fixated beautiful, one-of-a-kind corbels onto the front. They worked with Shonbray Johnson, the home's future owner, to design, create, and install these corbels, making them special for this home. These detailed, decorative pieces look incredible and will make the Johnson family even more proud to own this home for years and generations to come. Thank you to our Build Committee for this thoughtful gift and special way to make this house a home!
And with that, our 107th home is nearly completed! We are thankful for all our volunteers who put so much time, effort, and expertise into building this home and building a community around the Johnson family. Special thanks to the sponsors and in-kind partners of this home for making all of this possible.

The Dedication Ceremony of this home to the Johnson family will take place on Thursday, February 23 at 6:00 PM at 601 Rose St. in Denton. We hope you will join us to celebrate how far this family has come since leaving everything behind after an EF5 tornado in their hometown less than ten years ago. You can read more about the Johnson family's resilient and inspiring story here.
Did you know that the Habitat Denton ReStore offers free pick-ups of large items you wish to donate within Denton County? Please call the ReStore at (940) 382-8487 to inquire about a donation pick-up, and our awesome staff will work with you to schedule a donation time.

We are grateful to offer this service for our donors; however, due to a large number of donation pick-up requests each week, the current turnaround time for a pick-up is 2-4 weeks from the first day of contact. Two members of our ReStore team operate just one large donation truck, and with lots of work to do back at the warehouse, our staff can only go out for pick-ups on average once a week. We thank you for your generosity, patience, and flexibility as we complete these pick-ups.

Your donations to the ReStore help local families build strong foundations for the future, with proceeds from the sale of your donations going directly toward funding Habitat home builds. Thank you!

We are raising funds to develop 8 acres of vacant land in Southeast Denton and establish a new "Habitat Village" housing development on the property. As many as 35 new affordable homes will be built alongside local families in need via this development. This project involves developing the infrastructure of this neighborhood, including the streets, sidewalks, utilities, proper drainage requirements, and everything else needed to support a neighborhood of 35 homes.

The majority of our funds are raised by local individuals and local organizations, so we are relying on YOUR continued support to carry us forward. Would you consider making a gift to the Habitat Village today?
