MCHS POOL SCOREBOARD
The Costa Aquatics Boosters saved for many years to replace our elderly and temperamental scoreboard. Thanks to the very generous support of MBX, we were able to bridge the deficit in our funds and build a code compliant structure to support our beautiful new asset.
Thank you to all of the Costa Swim and Water Polo families who have donated to our programs over the years and heartfelt appreciation to MBX for their unwavering support in seeing this project through to completion. Over 200 athletes benefit from this investment and we could not have done it without you.

BAND & COLORGUARD
Congratulations to our MCHS Winter Guard Teams & Indoor Drumline Team on outstanding seasons!
This past Saturday, MCHS Indoor Drumline completed their season by competing at the SCPA Championship Finals at CSU-San Bernardino, making it their 3rd consecutive Finals appearance. Only the top 12 teams get to compete at finals so it is an honor to be there. They finished the season in 9th place out of 54 teams in their PSA division. The season would not have been a success without the hard work of the students and their dedicated instructors. The program takes a village to operate. Thank you to all of the parents who spent countless hours driving to/from competitions, loading trucks, pushing equipment, building props and cheering the students on. A special thanks to the IDL leads, Gillian Cato, Jen Camacho and Steve Camacho for making everything run smoothly.

The Varsity and JV Winter Guard teams just wrapped up successful competition seasons. The Varsity team advanced to the second round of competition in both the Regional and Power Regional Winter Guard International tournaments. The JV team placed 2nd in their division at the West Coast Winter Guard Championships. Our teams are transitioning to the upcoming Colorguard fall season where they perform with the Marching Band. Spring training starts on Tuesday, April 23 and runs weekly through May 28 from 3:30 to 5:30 pm. Anyone interested in checking out this program is welcome to attend this free camp.
