This provided $45,024 for the general fund, $44,258.68 for special projects including technology, new staff housing, the farm, memorial life membership, greenhouse, Southface grant match, housekeeping, facilities, and camperships. In addition, $16,150 was contributed to the Endowment Fund.

Message from the Board - DeAnn Peterson
A time for reflection. A time for setting intentions. A time for snuggling in to think about what comes next. What is the "next right thing"?
As I think about my time on The Mountain board, I'm awash with all the emotions of a turbulent but productive time. We survived a change in leadership AND a pandemic. We are combating climate change with every infrastructure improvement we make. We continue to upgrade staff and guest housing. The list is immense and too detailed for this tidbit.
As I contemplate the next right thing, I'm reminded of the ironic truth that the more you know, the more you know you don't know. All the work done at The Mountain is followed by the need for more work. I'm both happy and energized by this fact.
I'm incredibly grateful for our work with the staff and Board. Let's make 2023 an even more productive and gratifying year.
In service,
DeAnn Peterson
