Dress Code and Expectations for School ID Pictures
As we approach the start of the school year, it is important that all students have the necessary uniforms to begin the school year. Uniforms are available through Lands’ End. If you are planning to order uniforms from Lands’ End, please plan extra time prior to the start of the school year to allow for delivery of your uniforms. This time of year, Land’s End recommends planning for this extra time as they are fulfilling orders for all of their schools. As members of one community, our policy encourages modesty, neatness, and humility, not drawing attention to the individual.

School ID, yearbook and transcript pictures are taken at Book Pick Up and students need to be in compliance with the code before their picture will be taken. Students need their school ID to pick up textbooks and other materials.

Please ensure your student is in compliance with the following items that have been part of our Dress Code for several years:
  • All hairstyles must be kept neat, clean, professional and a natural hair color. Extreme hairstyles are prohibited.
  • Boys must be cleanly shaven. Sideburns cannot extend below the bottom of the ear.
  • A boy’s hair can be no longer than collar-length in back, not below the ears on the sides and not below the eyebrow.
  • Face piercing of any kind, other than ear piercing is not permitted. Boys may wear only one earring per ear that is a simple stud. Girls’ earrings may not hang below the chin.
  • Visible tattoos are not permitted.

Please refer to the full Uniform, Dress & Grooming Code before purchasing clothing and sending your student to school.
Student Photos and ID Guidelines
School pictures will be put online for you to view and order. Your son/daughter will be given a QR Code Card at the time of pictures to bring home. This card will have the code you will need to order pictures. The card will also have information on the Ambrosius Studio website (ambrosiusstudios.com) for ordering pictures.

Images will be on the Ambrosius website (ambrosiusstudios.com) 3 days after photos are taken or 3 days after last day photos are taken (if multiple dates). Each student will have 2 images online to view and select from.

Please view your son/daughter images within 14 days of picture day to ensure no re-take is necessary. If a retake is necessary, this must be indicated online to have a retake done. All retakes MUST be entered online.

Photo Guideline:
Students must be in a shirt with a collar (no tank tops, sweatshirts or t-shirts)
Boys must be clean shaven.
Hairstyles must be kept neat and clean and natural in color. Extreme hairstyles are not permitted. Boys’ hair cannot touch their collar.
Senior Photos Requirements
When scheduling your student's senior photos, please be aware of the Notre Dame photo guidelines:
Students must wear school appropriate attire and all shoulders must be covered.
Per our school dress code all boys must be cleanly shaven in the senior portrait.
