PIN now needed for Listen Up! Vermont
One update with our new system is that Listen Up! Vermont is now asking us for our pin number.
You will just be required to enter both their barcode and 4-digit PIN when using Overdrive now.
And the account must be kept current. If your fines are too high, or if your account has expired, you will need to clear that up before borrowing.
Please feel free to contact us or stop by for more information or assistance.

Our New Cataloging System is Here!
We are now using our new cataloging system, Koha.
Please be patient with us as we are learning the new system along with our patrons. The new system allows for new patron email notifications, better search capabilities and patron-initiated holds on any item among the 15 area libraries that are members of the Catamount consortium. Also we are instituting a "conscience jar" for any fines assessed by the new system on a provisional basis. We will review how the new fine system is working out in a few months to see if it can be kept in place or we will go back to the regular way of collecting fines.
Please feel free to contact us or stop by for more information or assistance.

All updated and ready to go!
Over the past several months, the library staff have given new barcode numbers to all our active patrons. This project had to be complete before launching our new Koha cataloging system, which happened Monday, February 27.
If it has been a little while since you've checked anything out from NWPL, you might find your account is no longer in the system. No worries! We are happy to get you all set up again.
Just drop by and we will give you the new card.
(If you live outside Woodstock and have a paid account, you would not be deleted unless your account has lapsed.) If you need to access your account online, and you find your barcode is no longer working, but your account is current, feel free to call us (802.457.2295) and we can help get things working again.
