Tartans Celebrated for Exceptional Academic Standing

Thirty-one students were honored at the close of 2022 during the Student-Athlete Academic Achievement Celebration. The students, including senior biological sciences and psychology major Ola Owodunni, were recognized for their commitment, passion and success in the classroom.

Movement Information Offers Critical Visual Cues

We do not live in a static world, but most vision studies center on work with pictures. A new study led by Sophia Robert, a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Psychology, and her colleague at the National Institute of Mental Health mined untapped information in motion cues to better understand how we see.

Senior Folds Machine Learning into DNA Origami Research

Peter Sauer, who is majoring in biological sciences and statistics and machine learning, is helping researchers predict how complex structures made of DNA form at the smallest scales.
