Here, we bring our questions, learn by doing, try out new things, and exchange knowledge and experience. We experiment as peers with technical features of platforms like Zoom, online whiteboards, polling tools, and so many more. 

This space is for tech hosts supporting participatory formats, and for participatory practitioners interested in the technology of hosting online. 

Some questions that guide us in hosting the Digital Sandbox: 

• What gifts does technology bring to participatory practice online?

• How might I, as a Tech Host, contribute to hospitable space online?

• How does our relationship with technology change the online experience - for us, as tech hosts, for our team, and for the participants?

• What technology do we want to partner with in our participatory practice work online, and how might we get to know it better?

NOTE: To get the most from the Digital Sandbox, ideally you should have some experience in online hosting and/or tech hosting. If you want to learn the basics of online hosting, we invite you to take one of the Evergreen trainings delivered by our learning partner weDialogue, that can be taken any time.
