Russ Peterman will lead us in a discussion about the history of the Disciples of Christ denomination and the foundations of our theology. He will also give us a look into the vision and mission of University Christian Church and what it means to be a member here.

Third Grade Bibles Presented January 9
The Third Grade Bible Class is a UCC tradition and provides an in-depth opportunity to learn about the Bible, how to use the Bible, and makes the Bible a source for your child of hope, questions, answers and faith development. UCC believes learning to use your Bible is important and gives every third grader a Bible as a gift.
 
This year, Bibles will be presented in worship prior to the class so children can use their new Bibles as we learn to navigate scripture. We encourage everyone to participate in the class, but if not able to attend, we still want your child to receive a Bible from UCC. Classes meet on Sundays at 10:00am.

Formation: A Weekly Conversation for Followers of Jesus
Begins Jan. 16
Join Shannon, Kera and Renee for "Four Portraits, One Jesus." Matthew, Mark, Luke and John tell distinctive stories about the life of Jesus. Each 20-minute episode is available on Facebook, YouTube, UCC website and podcast. New episodes posted weekly Sunday mornings at 10am.

  • UCC will be closed for the holidays on Monday, Dec. 27 and Tuesday, Dec. 28. Normal office hours will resume on Wednesday, Dec. 29 and Thursday, Dec. 30.
  • UCC will be closed on Dec. 31 and will return to normal office hours on Jan. 3.
