The Rite of Reconciliation is available during the season of Lent

This rite, also known as confession, invites the confession of sin to God in the presence of a priest, followed by the assurance of pardon and the grace of absolution. Contact the Rev. Amy Dills-Moore if you would like to schedule a time for this sacramental rite.

Reimagining Lent with the Rev. Bobbi Patterson

  • What if our Lenten self-examination were rooted in self-compassion?
  • How might Christian humility be more about letting go than about holding on to a list of oughts and should?
  • Why not ask these Lenten questions: What’s hurting? What’s increasing my suffering?
  • How might a Lenten practice offer you restorative solace instead of burden? And more!

Join us as we “Reimagine Lent” together on Sundays at 11:30 a.m. in the parish hall.

Lenten Devotionalonly three left

If you are looking for a Lenten devotional to read as a spiritual practice during Lent, pick up one of the Living Compass booklets in the gallery: Living Well Through Lent 2023: Practicing Compassion With All Your Heart, Soul, Strength, and Mind.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

Art Ministry

Now Showing in the Gallery

Lexicon of Human Dignity

Dr. Colleen Morich, Epiphanite and founder of the Lexicon of Human Dignity, is displaying 5 of the 12 Informational Artworks in the Gallery through March 22. The last of the series has been finished and is “Good Trouble,” highlighting Congressman John Lewis.

The Lexicon of Human Dignity artwork highlights Thought Leaders from the Atlanta area, across many disciplines. Informational Artworks are the cornerstone of this project. They provide easy to understand picture-based stories of how our Thought Leaders are working in their respective fields to support Human Dignity in our neighbors across the Atlanta Region. By illuminating the vocabulary of Human Dignity, and with it the conversation about the challenges facing our neighbors, their insights help educate, engage and activate people to pay closer attention to how we might support their Human Dignity.

The Episcopal Church of the Epiphany sponsored the Lexicon of Human Dignity project. You can learn more at www.lohd.org and visit all 12 of the Informational Artworks, including the 5 that will be displayed this time in the gallery.
