Queen Esther Risked All to Save Her People. Will You?
✡︎ Shalom & Chag Purim Sameach! ✡︎

As we celebrate Jewish survival and victory in 4th century BCE Persia, let's emulate Queen Esther's example of risking personal security and social standing to advocate for innocent victims of genocide in the womb.

Our March flyer above appears this month in The Jewish Press, The 5 Towns Jewish Times, Florida Heritage Jewish News, the Jewish Voice, and Jewish Link NJ, and as an email sent by Kosher Media. Please read and support these publications.

Cecily
May there be abundant peace from Heaven, and good life upon us and upon all Israel. Amen.
In our March Monthly Mishpacha, we discussed the NCJW's shameful, misguided attack on unborn life and state representatives in Kentucky over a pro-life omnibus bill debated and ultimately passed in the House. We shared a NCJW opinion piece published in the Courier Journal. After our discussion, members agreed that we ought to write and submit for publication our own opinion piece. After receiving comments from several of our members, I wrote a piece intending to submit it for publication in the Journal. In the meantime, Bonnie Chernin, director of Jewish Life League and JPLF board member, told me that her submission was declined. The editor has a history of declining pro-life submissions and pieces written by out of state authors.

We reached out to Ky Right to Life and Rep. Tate, who sponsored the bill, providing them with the letter, Bonnie's rebuttal, our power point and other educational materials to help Ky legislators and life advocates invalidate Jewish pro-abortion lies and distortions.

Here are links to the NCJW opinion piece, the letter we wrote, and two versions of Bonnie's rebuttal.
