April 8, 2022

Dear St. Anne Catholic School Families:

Another amazing week has come to an end. Our 5th and 6th graders had a wonderful time at Camp Kappe and spent the last few days participating in various activities and bonding together. Our Kindergarten students had a wonderful time at the Oil Ranch. It seems riding the bus was just as exciting as visiting the ranch. Thank you to all of the parents who chaperoned and joined us for the field trips. Taking field trips is an important part of educating the whole child and provides an opportunity for life long memories to be made. Field trips always fill our students with joy, which fill us with joy.

Our Theatre Under the Stars Gala is only 2 weeks away. It is going to be an amazing evening. Our gala chair and volunteers have been hard at work preparing for a beautiful experience with fantastic offerings to bid on. Time is running out so be sure to get your tickets - we only have a few seats left. You can register for online bidding here. We will continue to sell raffle tickets up to the evening of the event - be sure to get some and have a chance to win a trip! Raffle Tickets are only $10 each. You can purchase raffle tickets here.

Our new website has been launched. It was a significant undertaking that we hope you will find useful and user friendly.

During Lent we have reflected on prayer and scripture. This weekend on Palm Sunday we will experience our Lord’s Passion and enter into Holy Week. Lent ends on Holy Thursday and the Triduum begins. As our Lenten journey comes to an end, we will have our student retreat on Thursday, focusing on the theme of service and humility, bringing us even closer to Jesus as we prepare for Easter.

Have a wonderful and blessed weekend.

Only by His Grace,

Kendall Shamas

School Advisory Board Invitation

Dear Parents and Friends of St. Anne:

At this time we are looking to add new members to our School Advisory Board.

In Catholic spirituality, discernment refers to reaching an understanding of a situation (or course of action) without the burden of subjective judgements, which involve emotions, desires and other human motivations. It is a process that attempts to grasp the will of God for one’s life – an inner search for an answer to the question of one’s perceived calling to service.

Parents or friends of the school who have an interest in participating in the discernment process please send an email to Tom Devore, our School Advisory Board president or email to Mrs. Shamas.  I
