Faithful Innovation

So Just What is God Really Up To?

Quite a good question!  Let’s find out some answers, together, with a little experiment, shall we?

The plan is to set up a simple table and chairs along Minnetonka Blvd. where our church property abuts up to the walking/biking trail. Here we will have extra chairs and cool drink, offering respite and refreshment to folks passing by, furry friends too, complete with a dog water bowl and treats! Here we will just listen, and notice, and converse. No proselytizing, no sell job, no coercion of any sort. Just an opportunity to share what Christ asks of all of us, to love one another.

Please look for the sign-up sheets in the undercroft/narthex. Refer to June 11 weekly news for the full update.

New Manager of Facilities

We are pleased to announce the hiring of our new Manager of Facilities (previously known as "sexton"). Welcome, Gary Flynn, to our staff and to our community! Gary will maintain our building and grounds, providing set-up and cleaning services and will work 15-20 hours per week. Please introduce yourself to Gary as you happen to see him in and around the building. Again, welcome, Gary!

Hello, my name is Gary Flynn and I am originally from London but now live in Minneapolis with my wife Maggie and two children Howard (10) and Molly (9). I enjoy playing soccer, spending time with family and traveling both around the US and back home in England. I look forward to getting to know the St. David's community.

To add someone to the prayers, please contact the office: office@stdavidsparish.org

We will include all individuals in the prayers list for four consecutive weeks, and then they will be removed from the list. If the prayer need is ongoing, please reach out and we will keep their names on the list. If anyone's prayer need is shorter than four weeks, please also note that. This way we will keep all prayer lists updated and recent.
