MESSAGE FROM RICKY

Dear Friends,

This past Sunday afternoon our church voted to remain United Methodist and a member of the Mississippi Annual Conference. Below is a video message that I sent out reflecting on that vote and what it means for our congregation. I do hope that you will watch that video and join me in prayer. As our guest preacher this past Sunday, Bob Rambo, said anytime we confront a moment of decision, we are uncertain of what may come next. But, God is with us and where He leads, He will provide. I'm grateful for Bob's message from Sunday and for the promise of God's presence.

This coming Sunday, our Revive sermon series continues with our next guest preacher, The Rev. Kaylyn Lindsay. Kaylyn is a graduate of Asbury Seminary and the associate pastor at Cleveland First UMC. She is a dynamic young preacher in our conference and we are excited to hear that God has placed on her heart for us.

Grace and Peace

MINISTRY SPOTLIGHT OF THE WEEK

GIRL SCOUTING

Submitted by Sherry Surrette

I just wanted to send a thank you for allowing our Girl Scout Troop 4409 to use the church for our bi-weekly meetings. Last night, as one of our beautification projects, we planted some tulip bulbs under the Cross by the education wing. The girls were so excited to do this as a thank you to the Church, and to help the environment as well. Praying the flowers show up by Easter!
