Adelaide Fringe at MCC

The 2023 Youth Collective Committee 

Marion’s Youth Collective Committee (YCC) is starting 2023 energised with a third season of exciting plans!


The 2023 cohort consists of twelve young people aiming to bridge the gap between Council and their community.  


The YCC meets twice every month to learn new skills, how local government operates, how to engage with the community and to deliver actions that help empower young people.

The City of Marion Gap Year Program offers two school graduates a paid, 12-month role

in Council where they learn new skills and gain valuable experience and networks. 

 

This year, we’re excited

to announce our 2023 students, Amara Scheide and Zane LeBlond to the team.

Verge gardening with natives workshop

Discover how to green your verge with local native plants

at our FREE workshop on

Tuesday 28 March at 6 to 8 pm at Cooinda Neighbourhood Centre.


Come along for a fun, informative and relaxed session, where you'll get to learn about native plants for verges, tips and tricks for designing your own verge, how you can apply for a rebate, and more!
