This Sunday, April 10th at 1:00pm in West Point,Cub Scout Pack 340, West Point, Virginia is hosting their Spring Festival! This is a free family event at West Point Town Park, so get it on your calendar and have some fun this weekend. Bring a canned good to help stock the food pantry. One item earns you a ticket for a dessert at the Sweet Shack!

Summer Camp Staff
We have numerous employment opportunities at our Summer Camps at both T. Brady Saunders and Cub Adventure Camp, and our Cub Scout Day Camps. We are looking for candidates aged 16 years and up to fill several paid openings, and 15 years to volunteer and earn service hours.

Scout Shop Patch Sewing Service
The Heart of Virginia CouncilScout Shop, located in the Leadership Center at 8090 Villa Park Drive, is offering a Patch Sewing Service to save you some time and frustration (especially if you don’t own a sewing machine and the thought of hand stitching or using Badge Magic on those patches makes you shudder).
Battlefield District is offering both BALOO and IOLS at T. Brady Saunders the weekend of April 29th - May 1st. IOLS is required for Scoutmasters, Assistant Scoutmasters, Crew Advisors, and Associate Crew Advisors. Packs and Webelos Dens must have a BALOO trained leader in attendance.
Our first bi-weekly Camp Card prize drawing was held on March 30th. 10 Units reported sales for 34 Scouts. Gabriel with Pack 517 won a Camping Cook Book, and Amelia B. with Troop 736G won a Kelty Sleeping Bag. The next drawing will be held on Wednesday, April 13th at 4:30pm in the Scout Shop LIVE on Facebook. This week, we'll have a special drawing for our Camp Card Champion leaders! Leaders should submit seller names through the survey on Black Pug found under "Resources" on our Camp Card website.
2021 Eagle Commencement - April 24th
You are cordially invited to attend this year's celebration of those Eagle Scouts who have climbed the trail and reached its highest summit. Join us on April 24th at Randolph-Macon College, Blackwell Auditorium. We invite Life Scouts to register to serve in the HonorGuard, and have event donor and sponsor opportunities available as well. Don't forget to leave congratulatory messages in our program! RMC is also pleased to offer hour-long campus tours prior to the Commencement!
