Spring is officially on its way! Goodbye snow, hello mud season! As a kid, I disliked spring. It seemed like a soggy continuation of winter as we waited impatiently for summer to arrive. As an adult, especially as a mom of two young children, I’ve really grown to appreciate the springtime. Readying seeds for the garden, hearing the birds brightly chirping in the morning once again, and seeing the trees bud gives me a sense of rejuvenation. And after this long winter, being able to walk outside in a sweatshirt is a blessing, no matter how much mud and dirt gets tracked into the house. I’m excited to paint outside once again and tackle perfecting the right shade of pale green of perennials that will be peaking through the topsoil. What spring things are you most excited about?
