In this email: Post PITC Survey, Community Conversations, Training & Reminders

Thank you to all who participated in the Point in Time Count 2023! This huge undertaking would not be possible without the hard work and dedication from many to execute the Count!

Please take a moment to complete the Post Point in Time Count Survey. This survey has two purposes, first it provides feedback to the CoC and the PITC Committee for improvement in the next year. Submit this survey while the Point in Time Count is fresh on your mind and share with any organization, entity or volunteer that worked the Point in Time Count. Second, it provides record for organization participation with the Point in Time Count for the CoC.

If your organization receives funding from: ESG, MOhip, MHTF, NOFO or more, it is imperative that you complete this survey for our record keeping purposes.

POST PITC SURVEY

Survey should take approximately 3 minutes to complete. Thank you again for your time and energy with the PITC for 2023!

YHDP Community Conversations

The Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) is an initiative designed to reduce the number of youth (between the ages of 16 and 24) experiencing homelessness. In October 2022, Missouri Balance of State was awarded $6,857,269 by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to develop and implement a community approach to preventing and ending youth homelessness.

The Coordinated Community Plan (CCP) focuses on the needs of youth, service providers, and housing interventions that will be funded by the YHDP to address youth housing instability. Our team is seeking to engage youth with lived expertise, interested organizations, service providers, and advocates to inform the CCP. We want to know what support young people need, the issues that youth face, and the resources to get safe and stable housing.

Join us for our virtual Community Conversations to learn about opportunities with YHDP and the COC!
