The mission of KLRN is to open a world of lifelong learning through trustworthy and enriching programs on-air, online and in our community.
Dear Educators,

Happy New Year! Here is to a year of bright new beginnings! With the new year, let us welcome the opportunities to help one another. How can we do this? Let us lend a listening ear, offer words of encouragement, and seek to collaborate with each other on issues that affect all of us, like climate change, how to stay safe during the pandemic, and promoting love and compassion. Oftentimes, young minds have thoughtful and innovative ideas to share and help our world. Let us look for ways to bring about positive change together.

You are important and you make a difference. We would like to invite you to share your stories of the moments that had a positive impact in your life. These are our Red Bike Moments. Through this social media initiative, we explore the importance of sharing our inspirational stories of the events in our lives that helped us to become the people we are today. We would love for you to share your stories!

How to Get Started
You may wonder, where do I start? Here are some helpful hints:
Step 1: Think about a pivotal moment in your life.
Step 2: Consider causes that are important to you. For inspiration, please refer to Muhammad Ali's Six Core Principles (listed below). Which of these most resonate with you?
Step 3: Share your story on social media. Please remember to include #AliKLRN
Muhammad Ali's Six Core Principles
You may consider these principles for guidance:
Confidence: Belief in oneself, one’s abilities, and one’s future.
Conviction: A firm belief that gives one the courage to stand behind that belief, despite pressure to do otherwise.
Dedication: The act of devoting all of one’s energy, effort, and abilities to a certain task.
Giving: To present voluntarily without expecting something in return.
Respect: Esteem for, or a sense of the worth or excellence of, oneself and others.
Spirituality: A sense of awe, reverence, and inner peace inspired by a connection to all of creation and/or that which is greater than oneself.
