The WTS Charlotte Metro Chapter is excited to host a guided tour of the newly complete 3rd Segment of the Cross Charlotte Trail (XCLT) led by Joe Frey, Senior Project Manager with the City of Charlotte's Urban Infrastructure Group! Joe has been a part of the XCLT project since 2014 and will speak to how the design evolved, as well as discuss the larger connectivity aspect of the Cross Charlotte Trail and the Uptown Cycle Links projects.

The starting location for the walking tour will be at the intersection of 10th Street and 12th Street (red star on map below).  The walking tour will be cancelled in case of a heavy rain or thunderstorms.

Registration for the walking tour is FREE!  Registering helps us know how many to expect and makes it easier for us to reach out to you if there are any changes. One AICP CM credit will be available for the walking tour; please register to receive notifications about the AICP CM credit. We hope you can join us!

On-street parking for the walking tour is available near the intersection of 10th Street and 12th Street. We would encourage attendees to arrive early to find a parking spot.

Walk then Wine!

To round out the evening, our Chapter will be hosting its first social in 2 years! Join us afterward at Rosie's Coffee and Wine Garden - all are invited!  The social will be held from 5:30 - 7:00 pm at Rosie's Coffee and Wine Garden at 940 North Davidson Street.  WTS will provide some appetizers, and drinks are on your own. Non-alcoholic beverages are available. Friends and family welcome!

Rosie’s Garden has a small parking lot off North Davidson Street; additional parking is available in CATS North Davidson Street parking deck on the first floor after 5 PM.
